DJINDIBIK MURRUP
Our Vision
To see a world with First Peoples communities thriving in health, love, trust and connection to family and country. To develop an evolving, accountable, and trusted network of healing practitioners that work with our communities to bring strength and love back into the world.
Our Practice
We aim to work with and through the collective trauma of our First Peoples community through one-on-one therapy sessions, emotional intelligence group discussions, and by inspiring First Peoples to become healing warriors in order to support their families and communities.
Our work’s purpose is to move into a shared future where healing and emotional intelligence is openly and freely shared. We hope to achieve this through our own offering, as well as by providing a gateway for First Peoples to receive free therapy and healing sessions through their selected organisations.
“HEAL THE PEOPLE, HEAL THE COUNTRY.”
We do this as First Peoples and First Nation mental health practitioners with lived experience in our communities.
Through our work, we engage directly with staff and clients of organisations at their place of business, at the St Kilda Botanical Gardens, or in online sessions (via Zoom).
We also provide one on one sessions to anyone from all communities that are looking to live a better & brighter life.
We approach our sessions as a deeply collaborative connection between practitioner and client that takes a strengths-based approach to sharing our unique stories (who we are), developing our skills in emotional intelligence (where we’re at), and strengthening our sense of identity and resilience (where we want to be). Our goal is to support First Peoples in their journey of finding unconditional love for themselves and their lives.
About
I am a proud Boonwurrung and Barkindji man. I am a Cultural Educator, Motivational Speaker, Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and Success Coach. I have lived experience of intergenerational and generational trauma; and have worked hard for the past 7 years to go deeper into Spirit and Country.
My own journey has involved working closely with and listening to Elders, Uncles and Aunties and undertaking hundreds of hours in therapy (including EMDR, Hypnotherapy, CBT, IFS, Somatic Therapy, and Men’s Group). Through my work at Biik Bundjil, I’ve put into practice the skills, experiences, and emotional intelligences I have found to facilitate strong, culturally aware, and compassionate community workshops embodying a shared future and connection.
From both my personal life and in my service to others, I have developed deep understanding, practical experience, and sense of purpose in doing the work of connecting to Spirit and country. It is an honour to work with clients in their journey to self love, appreciation, and authenticity.

Our Programs
Let's talk
“WHEN CHILDREN HAVE BIG EMOTIONS, LET’S GIVE THEM COMFORT, CONNECTION AND LOVE, NOT RAISED VOICES, THREATS AND ISOLATION.”
We are happy to accommodate any suggestions of programs, topics, or activities you would like to do during our sessions.
All interactions which take place in the setting of therapy are considered confidential. This includes requests by telephone, all interactions with the practitioners, any scheduling or appointment notes.
We contacted the Djindibik Murrup program for one of our community members who suffered multiple conditions including agoraphobia following extensive childhood trauma and family violence as a child. The community member then entered her own intimate relationship and endured a 16-year period of significant family violence, impacting on her children, depleting her independence and causing her to become house bound for approximately 2-year period.
Jaeden began working with the community member immediately, initially with 3 sessions booked. By the end of Jaeden’s second session with this incredible woman, she began leaving her home and walking to the local park independently. I could clearly hear the change of hope and confidence in her voice, she felt incredibly safe and connected with Jaeden reflecting she had never experienced anything like The spiritual connection she felt she was regaining with Jaeden’s support.
Jaeden has continued to support the community member and the progression and empowerment in her healing journey has been inspiring to watch. Jaeden can provide a culturally safe place to help heal community with a cultural lens that mainstream services cannot provide. I feel this is reflected in the outcomes Jaeden can achieve with community who are needing to reconnect with culture in order to find a sense of identity, belonging and self.
In establishing connection and trust, Jaeden has changed this community member’s life in the way she deserved it to be. I cannot express how grateful I am for the work Jaeden does and how supporting the community to access his services can provide a world of difference to those who desperately need it. The community member is now living free from violence and is healing. She is regaining independence and confidence and is so proud of her culture.
Boorndawan is looking forward to working with Jaeden and Biik Bundjil more collaboratively to ensure our community members can access culturally lensed healing with incredible outcomes.
Thank you so much to Biik Bundjil and Jaeden.

With no exaggeration, I can affirm that my sessions with Brittni changed my life. Her medicine is so powerful and rooted in the best intentions to help and serve.
I loved how collaborative our sessions were, reminding me of my own power and capacity to heal and be healed. Together we released so many blockages and traumas, some I wasn’t even aware of. I left our sessions feeling so much lighter, peaceful and empowered. It allowed me to break free from my self imposed limits, opening my eyes and heart to possibilities that my inner child has been dreaming of but I had never considered.
I utilise the releasing techniques Brittni shared with me regularly and her medicine continues to weave through my life. I cannot thank Brittni enough, her healing work is truly invaluable. Without a doubt, I will be booking more sessions in the future and I highly recommend Brittni to anyone on their healing path!
