We facilitate educational workshop for our future generations focused on teaching the history and values of Melbourne’s First Peoples, the Boonwurrung, and in turn Melbourne’s rich history. Our Programs are fun, engaging and are committed to celebrating our continuous vibrant living culture, more importantly the significance of Our Shared History. And we absolutely enjoy tailoring each workshop to your request. Each session goes for 50-minutes and accommodates up to 25 children. Experience the essence of Boonwurrung culture with our dynamic Introduction to Boonwurrung workshop. Dive into captivating Boonwurrung stories and explore our rich world, learning about the language, spirit, and traditions. Engage in an interactive role-playing session of a Creation Story, bringing ancient tales to life in a powerful and unforgettable way.

In this workshop we embody the spirit of the Boonwurrung, we provide interactive storytelling and walk in the footsteps of our ancestors through the traditional cycles. There are six Boonwurrung seasons and we reimagine the season according to when the workshop is being held.

Kuinkin Manameet Biik - Four Curriculum Sessions
Kuinkin Manameet Biik is designed to immerse students in the richness and magic of Boonwurrung culture. The program unfolds across four engaging sessions: Womindjeka (Intro to Boonwurrung), Ngamae (Seasons), Bubup (Art & Story), Yinga (Songlines). Concluding the program on the last day we perform a ceremony celebrating the journey of the children.

Immerse your school in a magical and unforgettable Boonwurrung Day experience. Our team of up to four educators will guide your students on a songline journey, enriched with ceremony, storytelling, diverse activities, and culminating in a vibrant Ngargee (celebration) featuring First Peoples’ dancers.
