From Culture to Classrooms: Jaeden Williams Briggs’ Journey of Country, Resilience & Healing

Jaeden Williams Briggs, a proud Boonwurrung & First Peoples educator, cultural leader, and mental health advocate, has dedicated his career to sharing culture, connection, and healing across over 300 early learning centres and organisations throughout Country. Through his work, Jaeden empowers educators to deepen emotional intelligence, wellbeing, and cultural understanding, blending First Peoples Ways of Being with mainstream education systems.

Through keynotes, conference presentations, and immersive workshops, Jaeden shares practical, culturally grounded tools that foster connection, resilience, and healing — in classrooms, staff rooms, and everyday life. Speaking from the heart, he draws on his lived experience and personal transformation, creating authentic connections that invite reflection, growth, and a renewed sense of purpose. His sessions leave audiences with actionable insights, warmth, and wisdom, inspiring educators to create environments where both children and staff can flourish.

Testimonials Highlighting the Impact

"When my firm, Arnold Bloch Leibler, had the privilege of hosting an event for our long-term client, First Australians’ Capital, I was deeply moved by the Welcome to Country we received from Jaeden Williams. Having heard many hundreds of welcomes over the years, I’d have to say that Jaeden’s was one of the most memorable. I wish him all the very best for his important new initiative with Biik Bundjil, which welcomes young Australians across the Victorian bayside area to understand and appreciate Boonwurrung culture as a precious contribution to the culture of the region as a whole."
— Mark Leibler AC, Senior Partner, Arnold Bloch Leibler

"I attended Jaeden’s Boonwurrung cultural walk in May this year, and think it’s the most beneficial activity I’ve ever done to develop my understanding of Indigenous cultures. I am in awe of Jaeden’s ability to weave together the ancient with the modern, the painful with the joyful, the uncomfortable with the familiar. My thinking and feeling has transformed. I would recommend it to anyone who is open to the experience of learning about our shared Australian histories and cultures."
— Anita Goldsworthy, ANZCA
